Long wait for decree absolute

I applied for my decree absolute on 19th December and I'm still waiting....anyone else had to wait this long? It had been over a year since the nisi (2.5 yrs) so I had to send a letter covering some additional information which I did on the same day they requested it (20th Dec). Then 2 weeks I received a reply from HMCTS asking another question and then nothing...still waiting. I thought it would take days not this long. After 3 long years of trying to divorce my abusive ex this feels like torture.

Yes I can't remember exactly but I know from when I first applied to the end it was just over a year

It's been nearly 3 years since I started the process. 6 weeks is just since I pressed the button for the absolute (final order).

A couple of years ago it took me 6 months from submission of final order. The backlog in courts is huge if you’ve timed out of the online option.

Took me almost two years from start to completion (but covid got in the way).
