I've been gaslight by my husband who accused me of paranoia, made me change my medication ..while he had an affair. I've been told this is coercive control. Is that right? I've submitted my divorce application today so early stages

Sorry to hear he's been such a bastard.

Yes, gaslighting is a tactic within coercive control .

Yes that correct.

Good luck with your divorce.

I wouldn’t automatically say gaslighting re an affair is coercive control, I mean everyone will lie to cover their tracks in that ( not saying that’s good).

the medication thing sounds concerning.

if there’s a pattern of consistent behaviour across the board it does sound controlling

good that you’re divorcing

He made me feel like I was going mad. Shouting at me for accusing him and all along i was right.
The pain is unbearable. I just feel sick of the thought of them together. Hes accusing me of saying all sorts to him. All lies to justify his behaviour.
