Can a teenager choose to live full time with a dad?

Yes they can. At that age if it went to court, a huge emphasis would be one what the teen wants as long as it’s safe for them. Also practicalities of enforcing a court order opposite to the wishes of a teen are difficult because they can generally take themselves where they want to stay.

From 13 onwards children's views hold far more weight in the family court. However, the court would be keen to establish that this is the child's independent view and not one that's been influenced by either parent. That said, it is very difficult to get a teenager to do something they don't want to do so at 13 if they want to go and live with dad then there's very little that could be done to prevent that happening.

Yes of course. My nephew did.
