Divorced but no official settlement

Ex and I had final order come through September. At the same time we sold our house, splitting 50/50 and agreed to keep our own pensions. He is paying CMS for 17 yo.
Although we did one round of mediation we never got a financial settlement signed off.

We are both satisfied with the outcome - does it have to be officially signed off (at extra cost)?

Well, if you don't then either one of you can come after pensions, lottery wins, inheritance in the future. You need a clean break sign off.

No.

But as pp said if it's not signed off then you risk a court overturning what you have agreed at any point in the future.

If you want to be sure you are rid of him get it signed off.

Uurgh...how cheaply can it be done to get it signed off?
