Teachers CETV for pensions

Has anyone applied for their CETV and can you tell me how long it took for it to come through please? Apparently my ex applied for his last December and it still hasn’t come through. I know there has been a delay with them but I am wondering just how much longer I am going to have to wait! Thank you for any info anyone has!

I requested mine ages ago, still nothing. In the end I just worked out an estimated one and because we agreed not to split pensions, the solicitor accepted it and I got the consent order through. There's an ongoing thing. I'll tag you in an older thread about it, the people who posted on there may have more advice.

Honestly it's so long ago I can't remember, it was probably around Dec/Jan last year. The whole thing is ridiculous! 🙄

The are rubbish -mine took forever and was wrong when I eventually received it. (Private pension people came back with the calculation in 48 hours). TPS don’t answer the phone -have a real public sector mentality -probably ‘working’ at home.

Took 8 months for the USS to give his so I can believe it

I rang 2 of my pension companies last week and got one over the phone and one sent to a portal within 24 hours.

Prior to that I'd called and it took about 4 months in the post 😮

It's ridiculous. A year is really not OK. Surely he's chased it? I'd be requesting proof he's contacted them.

I received a letter the other day saying the information just wasn't available.
I applied about a month ago.

I've been waiting for my CETV for two years now with no resolution. Just wondering if anyone else is facing similar delays or has any advice on what steps to take.

I received mine. Took about 9 or 10 months.

I thought it had all been resolved now? May be worth chasing them in case it went missing in the post? That happened to me I was waiting for it turns out my ex had intercepted it which I know because I found it in a folder at a later date

I realise this wont help you OP, but for anyone else searching for current times, both STBExH and I both applied and got ours back in slightly over the 3 months they state as a legal requirement. I applied in April 2025 and got it back only a few weeks ago.

Can I ask how long the NHS CETV took? I've been waiting for 14 weeks already! Did they e mail the info or post? Thanks in advance.

14 weeks, I am in Scotland though, not sure if that matters. It was by email. Hope it arrives soon, it was absolute torture waiting on it and my mood and outlook has improved so much since things are progressing now
