CMS and expenses

Hi
I am in the middle of divorce, my ex pays CMS for both our kids but when he sees them at weekend for 3 hours and he comes to our property (my son is social isolating) he asks me to leave money for a meal as he can't afford it (even if, yes, he definetely can).
Any other with same situation?
Thanks

It’s ridiculously transactional as most parents would want to provide the meal. But since the visit is in your home and presumably he pays you child support for that day then food costs are in your CMS payment. Can’t you just leave some snacks and sandwiches if they get hungry and feed them before he arrives so they don’t need a meal?

Agree with @LemonTT it's mental but technically it's on you to provide the meal. I would under no circumstances leave money though. I'd make up packed lunches or similar (so your Ex doesn't also help himself when making food for them, though I might be a little too petty!)

My x requested I provide packed lunches and it was a no from my solicitor.
If it were in my house I'd probably leave sarnies & fruit out for the kids though.
