I've sent all the bits and pieces off for the financial order and have been waiting for 4 weeks- was really hoping to get something back already. I chased my solicitor who unhelpfully said when the court responds they will let me know, so I called the court helpline. Not that helpful as you don't get to speak to a human but the message said the turnaround time is up to 20 weeks! That means I am potentially looking at March 2025?
I've been getting divorced for just over 2 years and have spent that time trapped in this house, sleeping in the spare room. I desperately need out and can't bear the thought of a third christmas in this jail.
