First time posting . Settled in court last week - but I discovered he had changed his career and earnings so CMS is less than half of what he has on his mortgage calculations . Do I have bring him back to court at more costs. How do I challenge this ? A bit gutted that he has left his children with so very little support.

If the settlements is sealed you can’t change it
if he’s earning less be careful to reopen it if it’s not yet final as you might see your settlement reduce if he’s earning less

cms is % of income so you can’t challenge that

Your financial settlement in terms of division of assets is final and sealed at court. No going back on that.

CMS is totally different. It is calculated as a % of income, depending on how many dependants he has. You can ask him for the CMS amount now, and if he won't pay it then ask for it to be taken directly from his wage by his employer. CMS is nothing to do with your financial order and so can be changed at any time.

If you have applied for CMs they will get the information off him.
