I have filed for divorce and I'm scared to tell my children they are already still finding it difficult that me and their dad split up, we have been separated for 1 year 5 months but my oldest son (19yrs) is still taking it hard I have 2 younger teenagers I know when my husband gets served he will tell them in a shitty way and manipulate them into hating me for it what should I do ?

He asked me for the divorce when I left him a year and half ago but refused to pay for it because he's stubborn and annoyed that I had the audacity to leave him so took me time to save up and we split bulecause of his constant cheating and emotional mental and financial abuse

No advice, just bumping this for you & sorry you’re in this situation.

I would ring him and tell him- wait for him to call back or text to say you need to speak to him, don't text or leave a message about it.
Then tell the kids yourself - they're old enough to have been expecting it but sounds like they'll be upset so you'll need to reassure them as much as you realistically can. Good luck
