My son has parental responsibility for his 13 year old daughter and she lives with him. The court order states that she sees her mum twice a week for supervised visits and no overnights. Since the court order was granted , only a few weeks ago, his daughter has come home in tears several times. Her mother spends the time she is supposed to be spending with her daughter screaming abuse at my son on the phone . She threatened to kill herself in front of the child, and has made several attempts previously although not when her daughter was present. In short it is a traumatic experience and my son usually ends up going to pick his daughter up early. I have asked my gd what she wants and she told me she wants to see her mum but not when she is being horrible (in her words)

He has stopped contact. He phoned social services up for advice and they said they would speak to his ex but I don't know if this happened. It didn't make any difference if they did. He is already speaking to the police about the barage of emails and calls he gets. Now the ex's parents are trying to pick my gd up when my son is at work and take her to her mums. They are phoning her and telling her she can see her mum. Poor little thing is confused and upset as you can imagine. His solicitor says he can do nothing and wait and see if his ex brings it back to court but what a mess. I am worried he will be in trouble with the court if he breaks the court order to allow supervised access. Has anyone any advice please.

At 13 she gets a say in who she sees and when.
