Hi, i wondered if the following would count as a matrimonial asset.

a £3000 watch
a sports memorabilia collection

Also, if i earn commission At work after separating, is that a matrimonial asset? Does that go in the pot or am i within my right to squirrel that?

Yes, both of those things can be marital assets and included in the pot to divide.

With regards to the commission earned after separation & before divorce, it depends. They can consider anything up to the date the case goes to court into consideration unless you reach an agreement before that date. It’s not an easy yes/no answer for that unfortunately.
