Hello all,

I wondered if you could help me.

I was with my partner for 4.5 years, living with him for 1 year. Everything was fine until we moved in together and then I saw a side to him that I'd never seen before. He became very critical, really bossy and I felt quite controlling. He would call me really weird, odd a lot. He would tell me off a lot and nit pick and start arguments with no notice and from sideways. We had good times too, but I ended up doing all of the jobs around the house as it was easier that way lest risk another eruption happening.

Last summer he told me that he was going to see how far he could push me and that he would recommend to the court that my ex should have custody of my child. I thought they were strange things to say. Nutshell, we had a big argument and he called the police on me. I snapped as he had started yet another argument in front of my son. I was arrested and my ex swooped in and got a court order to take my son. there is more to this than I am telling but any words of wisdom here would be a apprecaited. I always felt that he was doing it so he could get the house. I think he's moved on with someone else now. He was lining up the next girl and they had a date to meet.

Do you have legal representation? Do you still have contact with your son?

@AnneLovesGilbert he is with his dad. They were chatting about this. My ex (ithe one that called the police) is a barrister. He didn't need to call the police and I feel that he knew what he was doing. I just don't know.

My son's dad is awful. He barely lets me speak to my son and I haven't seen him for a month.

What were you arrested for? And were you charged?
