Hi, need some guidance of mums who have been through this..
My ex (unfortunately still legally married but separated) has got a new girlfriend who had/has a drug problem and has child services going to her house on unexpected visits to check her 1 year old baby.. I don't want my child near her and I have told him this because I'm concerned about my daughter's safety. However I haven't stopped him from seeing his daughter and I have made that very clear in text messages and face to face conversations but he's having none of it and wants my daughter to be involved with his current partner and is claiming I'm stopping him from seeing his own daughter and has went to a solicitor for this and I have an appointment with my own solicitor too to argue this. My question is will they look into her criminal record and child services issues if I ask them to because that is my main concern.. I don't want my daughter in that environment and he is living with her.
I just want the best for my daughter and this is all leaving me so upset and distraught and becoming depressed.
