Child Maintenance question

I wasn't sure where to post this.

My exH pays CM to me every month based on the online government calculator. As per our court order, he has to share his P60 with me each year and send me a new email saying how much he'll pay (usually slightly more than he has to) and I reply and agree. Job done.

This year, he is starting a new job where he will be paid more and has said on his usual annual email to me that we can review after his probation period (around August) or wait until next tax year as per usual. I am not sure how to respond to this. I was planning on saying that I'll leave that decision to him (strictly speaking, he doesn't need to increase until he gets his FY24/25 P60) so should we just stick to that arrangement to avoid any argument?

He is generous towards DS with his money and generally a good Dad so he will not miss out.

i don’t see why he doesn’t just start paying based on his new salary now.

the probation is only a problem if he doesn’t pass it - then you have bigger problems as he’d need to find another job
