Final order - is a solicitor needed?

Hello, we’re just starting the process of applying for a divorce. I had understood a solicitor was not needed if things were straight forward. We have no children and apart from a home to sort out our finances are already separated and we agree on this. Is it sensible to appoint a solicitor regardless? Thanks you!

No save your money.

No, but you might need someone to draw up your financial consent order.

I would pay to get a financial order drawn up.

Have you had advice on how the marital pot should be divided? To me that is another bit of advice worth paying for.

was it a long marriage? Have pensions been factored in?
