Clean break order

My conditional order was granted yesterday and I am now reading that I need a clean break order to finalise things.
I literally don't have a spare penny so there is no way I can pay for this. My ex left me with lots of debt and has arrears with CMS. He applied for the divorce.
I would be grateful for any advice.

You do need a clean break or either of you can claim against the other in the future… borrow the money, it is important

they explain DIY type process for a “ consent order” which is what you need. They’ll explain all the forms etc
they tell you what you can do without solicitors, and where you do need one for specific tasks. They have links to online solicitors that’ll do the bear minimum tasks you need at approved prices
we paid together around £600 inc vat for solicitor fees for consent order in 2021. But we agreed , weren’t acrimonious, and drew up our draft agreement in layman’s terms- solicitor could then do the legal draft order for court to “ seal”
our whole divorce was £1400 inc court fees and both solicitors fees. Ex only used a solicitor for a 45 min consult on the impact of the draft consent order so we could show court he’d taken legal advice which they do prefer to see.

youve already spent the £600 ish on court fees, so you’re looking for a spend roughly the same again at min.
