Form E - has anyone been asked to submit it partially?

I’ve asked my ex to submit a Form E on the advice of my solicitor. I sent him all of the links and asked him to give me a date to submit it.

He has sent a partially filled in form, with no supporting info, to me. I’m trying to keep costs down (although realise that if I need to use a solicitor then I will). He has said he has had legal advice (I don’t believe this).

Has anyone on here ever been advised to send an incomplete Form E to their ex?

Thank you.

File a form A with the court, OP. Otherwise your ex will just procrastinate (as he’s doing now). Form A fires the shot that gets proceedings moving. You can’t move forward without full disclosure on both sides… pensions, property, savings, everything is up for analysis and you can’t settle if one party isn’t disclosing. Already this is the sign of someone who will be difficult and drag this divorce out.
Your ex doesn’t have to do anything your solicitor says because he/she represents the law. But he must adhere to court orders, which IS the law.
