Hello everyone, im pulling my hair out trying to divorce my ex (separated over 12 years ago, have 1 son who is 16). My ex lives far away from me and the only contact I have is via an email address. Ive applied for my divorce and doing it myself, and have had the form D11 approved for this to be delt with over email as this is the only way to contact him. Im on the cusp of applying for my conditional order (D84) but i also want to financially sever myself so i believe a D81 is required then a Form A.
Am i right to assume that i will complete a D84 and he will be sent one too? Then they will send us each others via email to sign?
I can fill out the D81 and Form A solely?
I really cannot afford a solicitor to help me navigate this so I'm praying someone can help me. Thankyou in advance.
