What Draft Consent Order to use?

Had the financial order rejected as we didnt put one of these in, the email is of no use, sends us to a file where there are umpteen word docs.

Am guessing the order 1.1 (Financial Directions Order) or 1.2 (the shorter version) for 2.1 (Financial Remedy Order) is the one we want to use, which one?

We have agreed everything, solicitors drew up agreement, kids 50/50, no hassles there.

Hmm confusing

the normal route for consent order is a solicitor draws up a legal “draft” based on your layman terms. You pay solicitor to do this in form a court will accept. It isn’t in standard “form” type format. It uses correct legal language to make it legally watertight.

I suggest you use link in header to ADVICE NOW website and download their guides to diy consent orders. That’ll explain process to you .

the courts do need the legal D81 signed by both of you, with the consent order. Both get submitted to court online after interim order by solicitor.

if you didn’t go consent Order route, then that’ll explain why I don’t understand this. The process for court financial agreements is explained on ADVICE NOW guides though so will still be able to clarify for you.

Will take a look

Basically we agreed stuff between ourselves and our solicitors drew up agreement - 50/50 split on equity, savings etc and then I paid her lump sum to buy out of house. I thought we just needed D81

Hmm, not really clear.

You will need to fill in Form D81 (Statement of information for a consent order) and attach the draft consent order you are asking the court to make to it. You can find this form by searching ‘Form D81’ online.

So it doesn't tell me which one to use, as the link sent by the courts had a zip file to around 30 on it.

If you post some links, I could compare them to mine or my friend's FCO, OP.
