Navigating Christmas during the divorce process

Applied for a divorce late this year and our conditional order will come through in the Spring. Doing Christmas together before we put our house on the market. Conscious that this is the last one like this.

Gritting my teeth and putting one foot in front of the other, will continue to avoid conflict and try to make things good for the children.

Hand hold to anyone in the same situation: we’ll get through it.

Sending best wishes to you. I was in the same position a few years ago. It was awkward and everything felt forced, but we got through it and life went on. You'll be fine - just keep smiling and try to keep the emotion out of it. Yes, this is the last Christmas you'll all be together like this, next year will be different, but you can navigate those changes later. One day at a time.

Thank you. It's hard to play happy families isn't it, but very worth it for the children. Take care.. you've got this. X
