DP is in court later this week for the final hearing to do with finances. He’s been told it’s a full day with cross examination. Has anyone experienced this before? When they say a full day, are we talking 10-5?

I would expect him to be there all day.

Court is usually 10.30-4.30. You have to get there earlier to have a chat with your legal team (if he is represented).

My now DH went to final hearing.

From memory he was there a full day but only in court for 30 mins.

His solicitor commandeered a private room and he was in there for the waiting time.

I was on court from 10 am to 5 pm with several breaks
