Final order timings?

My conditional order was pronounced yesterday and so as of 24th Jan I can apply for my final order! Can anyone tell me how long it takes for this to be granted and the divorce to be finalised?!

For me it was less than 24 hours after I pressed the button.

@Mumof3confused that's amazing. I'm planning a little celebratory getaway so would early feb be achievable for it all to be finalised?

I don’t think there are any guarantees. Is it a joint application? If so, I think they need to also accept it online (not sure). I changed mine so he didn’t get a say (because he would have dragged it out for sure).

I was sole applicant and it came back within a couple of hours.

I'm can apply for a final order on 25th April..I plan to do this at midnight!!! I've read they should process and read out in court the same day? Is this correct. Then I should receive the paperwork 2/3 weeks later?

i was able to finalize my divorce 24/04/24. i did this as soon as i woke up. i have just checked the progress on the online site but the progress bar at the top doesnt have the final order ticked. in the latest update part it states

your application for divorce has been submitted and checked by court staff. its been served (sent) to you and your husband by post.
your husband should respond to the divorce application by 24 april 2024
you will be notified by email when they have responded or told what you can do next if they do not respond.

i dont understand this, this is not a joint divorce. i am the sole applicant. do i have to wait for the ex to finalize the divorce too? if so i could be waiting a while coz he doesnt use computers. so everything is done by post.
i am worried that he is going to drag this out.

This is odd as as a sole application it should all be done yourself. I applied at 0020 on the 25th and it was granted 230pm the same day (yesterday)
I know it's a ballache and over an hr wait but I would ring them tbh xx

I can do my final order today ( it’s past midnight) but when I log in it still says the accepted conditional order stuff and about applying from 23rd which it is, no emails yet and nothing updated on my account to allow me to apply for final order - when will I be able to do it?? :)
