i have been separated two years from my ex in this time i was gifted a car , can my ex ask me for half the cost in a divorce .
currently he wants a straight forward divorce he has no assets , no car, no home of his own , i live rented and have a little savings ( which i saved since separation and i read that i could be exempt from him taking it if i can prove its since separation)
but someone's just told me he can apply for half the cost of my car . is this correct ?
