My ex is initiating divorce proceedings. His solicitor is a known procrastinator, and I want this done asap. I've given him all the necessary paperwork and my current address. Our minute of agreement is signed. Does anyone know how long it should take for the lawyer to make the application and what correspondence will I get through? It's been around a week since he asked for my address so hopefully he'd made a start. I'm assuming it wouldn't take that long? Just trying to gauge when to chase them up. Thanks
