Conditional order - online link/cost/joint application?

Hi everyone - I’m a bit stuck and thought I’d turn to the mumsnet community to help me. I submitted a joint divorce application a few months ago with my ex and as per the original email it says I can apply for the conditional order tomorrow (the 14th). I haven’t received a link or instructions yet though? Is this normal, do they only send this on the day you’re able to from?

Also I can’t find any information on whether there are further costs/payment for application of the conditional order itself besides the £593 quoted for the divorce application? The reason I ask this is I saw on one of the threads here someone mention it would be a few hundred? It would be good to know as I know I will be absorbing the cost as I paid for the divorce app even though we had agreed to split it and ex - husband to be never paid me back.

Third question is about the nature of the application being joint - I’m assuming we both have to confirm application for the conditional order? I read that if one partner doesn’t you can proceed as a sole applicant but does anyone know how much delay it would cause to switch? I’m currently no contact with ex (no children/finances etc thankfully) and I think that’s better for me but I do have some anxiety about him deliberately not responding or delaying things out of spite/to get to me bec he did that with the joint application as well even though we had agreed (and he had a foot out the door but worked on it coming from
me so he could play victim but we won’t go through that now)

Finally I had done the calculations and though initially that it was 6 weeks and a day after the conditional order application that you could apply for final order but understand now that it’s after you’ve been GRANTED it. If Anyone who has applied in the last couple of months could post what correspondence they’ve had about court dates/when they applied and how long they waited I’d really appreciate it!

i have a feeling it’s going to be a long night so I really would appreciate any responses! Thank you so much in advance :)

The emails come through and make it really clear. I'm doing a joint application and it was very clear when I would get my next email. I got the email on the day I was told saying I could now apply for CO. Then I was told what day it would be heard on court (a few days later) then another email when it was granted ( a couple of dahs after that). I was then after six weeks sent another one saying I could now apply for final order (haven't yet as still sorting finances). I don't know what happens if your partner is sluggish as mine wasn't. But from the gov.uk end it has been remarkably slick and well organised.

Thanks @Penelope1703 appreciate it! You were right, instructions came through at midnight and was really straightforward. Been applied for by both sides so a waiting game now I guess.
