Court order holiday allocation

Court order for childcare arrangements states one year Christmas with one parent and New Year with the other, and then alternating the following year.

The child in question doesn't stay overnight and so am wondering if Christmas means literally the day or Christmas Eve, and Boxing Day, and the whole week leading up to (but not including) New Year's Eve.

If it means the whole week then that doesn't leave a whole week for the other parent from NYE onward because children return to school on 2nd January!

So I'm wondering if there's a standard way of doing it that I'm not aware of. The court order seems very ambiguous, and in a way maybe that's a good thing, but in a way not a good thing too as the whole reason it went to court was because parents can't agree, sadly.

Surely if the Court Order says no overnights then no overnights. Does it?

I'm not being clear, apologies. I'm talking every day but not nights - so DC returns home every day.

In the summer holidays it meant upping contact to day trips every day for a week, rather than just contact once a week.

I'm trying to figure out when the judge said Christmas with one parent they meant literally Christmas Day or Christmas Eve daytime then Christmas Day daytime and then Boxing Day daytime... or just one of the days, or a whole weeks worth of days like we had in the summer holidays

I'd assume Christmas Day but that's a guess.

Christmas day it's only for the days been there also
