Short term marriage 3 years was in relationship for 6 so together 9years, I was married to my ex didn’t work at the time but did all the housework and we only lived together during the marriage of 3years. I divorced 4 years ago but never applied for any financial he’s very wealthy and retired now but have few assets 2 houses before marriage and one bought during the marriage all paid no mortgage. We have a first hearing in December. My question is do I get anything from him financially since I didn’t contribute towards it? I have a house now but living very poor. We have no children. After we separated I had twins 3years old with another guy.

Really…

As you only lived together for the 3 years of the marriage that would be assumed to the length of the relationship. Hopefully you won’t get anything but there might be something in it for you.

Why do you think he owes you money for being in a relationship with you?

Hopefully not !

And,...........

It would be likely to be classed as a short marriage as you only lived together for 3 years. So you leave with what you brought which is fair imo.
