CMS for children abroad

I live with our 3 children 100% of the time. My exH sees them probably once a year, maybe twice. The last few months he has been giving me a couple of hundred £s a month for them.
Prior to this nothing.
We don’t have a financial order or anything in place.
I need him to support his children more.
i just checked HMRC and apparently- if I’ve read it correctly- I can’t apply for child maintenance through these channels for him.
Is this correct? Does anyone in a similar situation have advice as to the best route to go down to get this man to pay money. The 3 are expensive. One is a teen. My outgoings are huge and I am paying most of the mortgage on the house in the UK which he lives in (it’s in my name as are the deeds). I can’t sustain this much longer.

I’m afraid I don’t know anything about child support but if you are struggling for money why are you paying the mortgage on a house he is living in? This sounds like madness? If you are already divorced and it’s your house, can you not sell it?

It depends what country he's in but you can apply through the courts for his country of residence to compel him to pay maintenance. From memory it'll cost you about £30 to apply

I'm not 100% sure myself what the right way to go is but see if this might help - https://iamlip.com/help-guides/child-arrangements/ it might be able to guide you in the right direction for what to do next. Hope this can help!
This is for if you are in the UK though, are you in the UK?

Thanks so much PPs and @Anita848 for that link. He’s in the UK and I’m in the EU. And yes maybe I need to sell the house. 😞
Ive just realised that I am actually financially supporting him. Arghhhhhhhhhhhhh
