CAFCASS parenting plan

Hi,

We are moving to 50/50 shared custody and need to get a child care plan agreed.

I had hoped to sort this in mediation but it was deemed unsuitable.

I have completed a cafcass parenting plan online and emailed it to my STBXH.

I am fairly certain he is just going to ignore it.

What then? I’d feel a lot happier if we had an agreement in place but he doesn’t seem to want to engage.

Do you have to have a parenting agreement in place? Are you and him not entirely amicable?

You don’t have to. We’re not amicable at all so I thought the more we have written down / the less we have to communicate with each other.
