Confused about Form A + Consent Order

Can fellow mumsnet-ers help me with this?

Long story short, I can now actioned the Final Order to end my marriage. However, ex is dragging his feet and refused to sign the consent order.

I had been advised to not finalised the marriage until the consent order is complete. I had my first MIAM with the mediator that my ex arranged 2 months month ago (after initially insist on no mediation; just a straightforward financial split- we only have 1 asset and 2 kids). Since then, my ex has refuse to engaged and been ignoring all my texts and messages, despite living under one roof. I have no idea what is going on now but have a feeling that he is now going to let it drop and stay out.

So my question is, can I go ahead and submit Form A, rather than waiting for him to respond? He is not going to as he is financially more comfortable being where we are now.

I also have the Consent Order Form ready to be drafted by the online solicitor that I bought from wikivorce.

Will I be duplicating my cost if I submit Form A now?

Thanks in advance.

Hi, did you get any help with this? I'm in a similar position. And was hoping to use Wikivorce, where the consent order says its £350 - but after reading your message im worried that that doesnt include everything and that I would need to take that to the solicitor....and then more fees? thx
