Waiting for conditional order to be approved

I've waited the 20 weeks and applied for the conditional order August 17th which was a Thursday. It's now Tuesday next week and still nothing ... I've read many threads by people who say they got their approval 24, 48, 72 hours later. I'm assuming that's business days. The email I got back says I will hear from them "by 14th September". Anyone know how long it's taking for conditional orders to be approved around this time of year?

I am waiting for my final order and have no idea how to find out if my EH has applied or how long it will take or anything. I used to have a link where I could check the progress but it stopped working. I was in court 6 weeks ago so was hoping it would be any day.

@GotToGetThisRight so you've applied for the final order and it's taking ages to be granted? I had read that for most people the final order was granted almost immediately after applying :( Not sure about the process if you filed jointly as I filed solely ... sorry I'm not much help

@xxWelsh so sorry just saw your reply .. mine was 5 days past when they said they would reply. When I called them the day after it was due they said they were processing applications from 2 days before mine. So it took them about a working week to process 2 days of applications

Hi, from my experience its the final order which comes back once applied on the portal within the day which might be where you might be asking why its taking a long time. If its the conditional (financial) order approval you are waiting for then mine took 6 weeks from my solicitors posting the application online to approval. It was the longest 6 weeks of the whole process as I couldn't complete on my house purchase until all done.
