Hello,
just wondering if anyone can advise, me and my husband are separating. It’s been hard work and a horrendous time and I have left the family home with our child. He is a significantly higher earner that I am and we are trying to work out child maintenance. I know his basic salary however he earns a significant amount in bonuses/overtime.
Is this included in child maintenance and if I go through cms is there an option for them to tell us both how much should be paid rather than the collection option?
I don’t want to be money grabbing, just seems unfair he ends up better off and I end up with next to nothing left for our child at the end of the months.
