Has anyone been successful with interim maintenance whilst going through the divorce process?

Assuming you mean spousal maintenance, is your stbx a VERY high earner?

Yes. I get interim aliment. In my case there was 'need' on my part and 'resources' on his part. Not court actioned but I requested a particular sum and he agreed. But I did substantiate the claim with evidence.

Maintenance pending suit is very different to ongoing maintenance
it can be used to ensure needs net/bills paid while separation and agreement is ongoing
it doesn’t just have to be high earner and dies not necessarily mean it would be achieved ongoing

Yes, finally!!

It’s a very expensive process. However, my stbx is a Dentist with a private dental practice & other various businesses. He’s continued to lie & omit his finances! Not paid a penny for CMS so had no other choice.

The judge ‘has the measure of him’ & saw the evidence & we got my MPS payment. Despite saying he’s barely working. His lifestyle says otherwise.

No surprise he breached them, so took him back to court to action a committal order (prison) that finally made him pay up my arrears & any future payments until this ordeal is over!
