How long are divorce orders taking?

Just that really. Submitted signed and agreed consent order to court about 3 weeks ago and still waiting to hear back. Very eager to have it approved by court so I can request the absolute and be done with it all. Anyone been through this recently? What was your timescale?

This was a year ago now, but it only took 7 days for my consent order to be approved and sealed by the court. I believe they're much busier now that no fault divorces are a thing - a lot of people were waiting for that I think.

I can give you a timescale based on the back end of last year. It took 6-7 weeks to get approved. Approved without queries though.

The timescales vary depending on which court it goes to and the judge’s workload.

Thanks for your replies. I just want it to be over. The waiting is so frustrating. I daren’t email my solicitor to ask as that will add to the already huge bill (difficult divorce, wasn’t possible to do on my own).
