Ring fence deposit

Hi

does anyone know if a house deposit was ring fenced prior to having children does it still apply once children have been born ?

actually , not quite a deposit - at the time of buying it was agreed that if we split up the first £500k would go to the one that paid all the deposit and then the rest of the equity would be split 50/50

both parents are on the mortgage and deeds and the house will be being sold

just wondered if this still applies now that children are here
the original agreement was prior to having children

Are you married?
if so then it’s possible that deed could be over ruled ( not saying it would be but it could be set aside to a greater or lesser degree)

if you’re not married the split will be per the deed and % of house ownership
