So proud of myself. Finally told him its over!
8 years married, 12 together, 1 child, 1 dog.
And even in last conversation he did not fail to dissapoint.
He will potentially move 120 miles away... and not a single mention about our son.

When I asked if he would like our dog to keep him company...he cannot take her as he may have to rent.

So that is sorted. Full custody of Son and Dog without argument. Life is great !:)

I am in New city (lived here only 2 years). No family no old friends... but I know I can make it as without him my life will be toxin free.:)

Oh... he wants amicable split but we won't be friends. LOL.

Sorry but had to get it off my chest.

I feel like all our relationship he was closing door in my house...driving, cooking, discussing problems, parenting, intimacy...everything was either criticised, ignored or his way...at the end there was only way out open. I closed this one behind me.

One last dig did it.

If he was great father to our son I would have stayed for him. But he wasn't. Constant criticism and lack of engagement.

I am really shocked I lasted that long.

Good for you! Are you planning on staying where you are and having a clean sweep for your new life or moving back to where you have family support?

Staying where I am. I love the area, new people I met and would do anything to avoid hurting my son with another move.
I will find family (adoptive) where I am.
