Hi, very newly separated here, following the threads with interest. I am looking for advice although I think I know what the answer will be. My MIL inherited a house and we did it up and are living in it. It's still in her name. Am I entitled to anything? She said she is going to put it in our son's name and said I can stay in the house but if she changed her mind in the morning would I be out on the street?
Also, ex was very secretive about money, self employed but payed himself a small wage and put the rest away. I think the money is in his father's bank account. How can I prove what money he has?
