I’ve spent the last two years going through the most horrendous separation. I still don’t understand why he left and destroyed our relationship and family like he did. I feel angry to never have been given the answers (although his actions I guess do show this) and still feel so saddened by everything - not to sound dramatic but it feels like I’m stuck in grief. He refuses to speak to me and doesn’t see our children, just moved on to another life really. I’m moving forward with life practically speaking, just emotionally stuck. I still don’t feel ready to date this far down the line. He’s had a number of relationships, all appearing to be serious and now one for over a year. So clearly we must have meant nothing to him. Most of the first year he was gone he was pretending to still love us but then it came out what he had been up to.
Anybody else feel this way 2 years on? Any advice on how to feel better about it all or something I can action? To reach acceptance I suppose.
