Not married.
2 DC, he moved out 8 weeks ago temporarily and won't be moving back in. The house is in joint names.
I can't afford to keep the house on my own as it stands and it's unlikely that he can too so it will eventually need to be sold.
He earns more than me, so currently, he's paying for the mortgage and bills, I cover everything else.
I have thought of getting a solicitor but as we don't need a divorce I'm not sure what the point of that will be?
He is obviously entitled to come in and out of the house as he pleases which is what he is doing even though he doesn't live here anymore. He's asserting this right very clearly and in a controlling way and there's nothing I can do about it. It is affecting my mental health.
We could put the house on the market asap, but he's dragging his heels and saying that work needs to be completed first. He however is not completing this work and I can't afford to get people in at the moment as I'm skint.
Can anyone help me plan what to do next?
