Using Solicitor for submitting Divorce Paperwork?

Can anyone advise if I should use a solicitor for submitting my divorce paperwork. I’ve engaged a solicitor to support me with the financial aspects of my divorce, but I’m wondering if I should also use/pay for them to submit my paperwork. I’ve started the process online, but Im not sure how easy it is, is anyone able to advise? Thankyou

There is no need. It is a very straightforward series of clicks now, and no solicitor is needed.

You definitely don't need a solicitor for that.

My solicitor advised me to file for divorce myself online rather than paying her to do it. It was really straight forward and easy, I am purely paying my solicitor for advise in the background and will do anything I can do myself to save money.

No, use the government web site. Very easy. Log on ahead and read the guidance info and print forms
in truth if it’s amicablevyou only need a solicitor for a few specific tasks like writing up the legal draft of consent order once you’ve agreed and commented in layman’s terms, you can do D81 and Form E yourselvles
go to the ADVICE NOW. guides using the links MN has put at top of this talk board. well worth it at £20 a guide to save solicitors costs at £200+ per hour 🤷🏼‍♀️
