Financial consent order

After two years my ex finally signed the financial consent order form. My solicitor sent it off to the courts today. Does anyone know how long it'll take to come back? My solicitor said it could be quick or not...

My OH's took a couple of days, presuming they dont have any questions they seem to be signing them off fairly quickly. However dont count on it as there are a few variables.

Thanks Rose, that's good news. Do you know if it varies from each area? My court is in Bristol. I'm hoping they aren't too busy

@sojo1985 how long did this take for you?

sojo1985 · 03/01/2023 21:46

@Onlyme54321 hiya, it took about 3 weeks. My solicitor didn't check up on it and I only found out it was signed after 5 weeks. I've finally been paid my equity of the house now. I hope all goes quickly for you

I am of envious of the quick turnaround times people are giving. My experience is different.

My solicitor submitted the order on 21 November. It was sent to the judge a few days later - but haven’t heard anything since.

@Timeforachange2023 so sorry to hear this. That is a long time. Hang in there and stay strong
