Recovering maintenance from abroad

Does anyone have experience of recovering maintenance from a partner based in UK?

I live in Ireland.

There is a international system called REMO which is an organisation of countries who have agreed to enforce child support orders made in member countries within their courts.

You will have to check whether Ireland is a member. Or whether there are other arrangements between Ireland and UK given their special arrangements. If so you can make a claim in the UK courts.

You are probably better off googling Irish government advice on the matter.
