How long does financial settlement take?

I went to a solicitor in April, she has contacted ex's solicitor with a figure.

He has agreed a figure with his solicitor but she is not responding to any communication. I don't even know what amount he has suggested.

How long does this process usually take?
I need the money from the house.

What do you mean he has agreed a figure with his solicitor? That's bizzare! It's YOU he has to agree the figure with.

Has he submitted his form E and what have you suggested re the asset split?

Who is living in the house? Have either of you started divorce proceedings (i.e. issued a divorce petition)? Have you discussed or agreed any likely financial settlement between yourselves?
It sounds as if he may be unlikely to engage and/or stalling, in which case you would need to apply for Financial Remedy (separate to divorce proceedings but runs alongside them) which would force him to exchange Form E (financial disclosure) and follow a court process. If there is mutual co-operation and voluntary exchange of Form E, without applying to court, things can be moved on reasonably swiftly but still expect to take several months. If there is no mutual co-operation then it's several months to the FDA, a further several months to FDR and about a year to a year and a half from FDR to FH. Suggest your sol gives his sol a deadline to respond, then take advice on how to proceed once you know whether he's responded or not.
