No Fault - Anyone else waiting for conditional order?

I filed for divorce on the first day of the ‘no fault’ system. Applied for conditional order yesterday and now waiting. The message says I will be given a date ‘by 28th September’

I thought it would be interesting to hear how long it takes others to have theirs approved.

Hi, my divorce application was accepted on the 5th July, I applied for my conditional order on the 22nd November, on the 23rd the application was accepted and then it was read out in court on the 14th dec, I got the certificate on the 15th dec. I will apply for the final order on the 26th Jan.

Just a follow up - I got my notification I could apply for the final order yesterday. ExDH and I submitted the application about 1pm...by 8pm we were divorced - took 7 hrs!

Meg1313 · 02/05/2023 18:42

@Mumof3confused did it only take a few days for your conditional order to be granted?

Mumof3confused · 03/05/2023 19:18

yes it was all extremely quick

Hi guys can you help please?

applied for divorce end of March, applied for conditional end of august and should hear by 15th September - nothing yet but I’m reading about all these delays!

we are getting married and have a wedding booked for March 2024!

im pulling my hair out, any advice?
thank you

sweetiepie33 · 16/09/2023 08:09

@xxWelsh ring them cos my partners got delayed due to other things going on with the courts and they processed it on the phone for him and he got the email straight away then!

xxWelsh · 16/09/2023 10:41

Thank you for your response, do you mind me asking what things?

this is all stressing us out beyond belief x

sweetiepie33 · 16/09/2023 13:43

@xxWelsh they didn't say what things, just another case

xxWelsh · 16/09/2023 13:44

Thank you!

ill be ringing them Monday morning to check we are on track, the guy I spoke to wouldn’t commit to any answers and didn’t give us any information at all really.

i think I’ll cry when we see the final order has come through - my anxiety is killing me atm.

sweetiepie33 · 16/09/2023 15:34

@xxWelsh you're welcome! We needed it asap too as we get married in 26 days and we needed to give a months notice for the wedding so was panicking it wouldn't come through in time. As soon as she did it on the phone it came through via email within 10 mins! & then we just printed it off ourselves to take to the register office

xxWelsh · 16/09/2023 15:37

Great thanks! Assuming this was for the final, did you have any hold ups with the conditional being granted as our deadline for them to let us know is Wednesday and nothing yet x

sweetiepie33 · 16/09/2023 16:13

@xxWelsh yes it was for the final sorry. No holds up with conditional but just give them a ring as they are usually very helpful and just look into the case for you x

Dan003 · 30/01/2024 00:47

Sorry,who should ring?
