“Shared Care” for child maintenance

My ex will be looking after our 4 children Friday night to Sunday every other week.

They will be staying at his Mums these nights so I will drop them there. He will dip in and out and possibility take 1, 2, 3 or 4 of them (but not guaranteed all 4 EOW) at his 2 bedroom flat for the night with everyone else remaining at his Mums.

I am trying to work out child maintenance as per the online calculators. Am I right in selecting the 52 weeks overnight stay option - even though he isn’t technically having them but his Mum is? I don’t want there to be any arguments.

Thank you for your help.

Well you haven't got them as they are either with him or his mum so yes, the 52 night option seems the best one.
Is he having them any more during the school holidays or is that all on you?
Poor chap, can't he cope with all 4 for the weekend and why does he assume that his mum can cope?
Dipping in and out indeed 😕

The holidays haven’t been mentioned so that is all me at this stage. It’s his Mum and Dad I should have said. So possibly 3 adults to the 4 children split over 2 accommodations.

Yes. Then if he wants to give his mum money for feeding etc it's up to them to arrange between themselves.

Thank you for your replies, much appreciated. I’ll go with the 52 weeks then to make sure the CM calculation is correct.
