My husbands go to has always been I’m mentally ill. I’m not. I’ve spent years being verbally and mentioned abused by a narcissist. I have recordings of him telling me I’m ill. I guess if you’re told something enough….. I am now depressed. Will being in anti depressants affect me in a custody battle for my child?

No it won't. Narcissistic abuse is so damaging, you and your child will be better off out of the situation. Might be worth a chat with women's aid who will be able to support and reassure you.

A little musical interlude for you.

Seriously, like half the population is on ADs or has taken them at one time or another. It's a non-issue. Or rather, it's simply a tactic of abuse and intimidation to keep you in line. If a parent were so depressed they were genuinely struggling to provide basic care, that might have an impact in family court, but a parent merely taking medication, no.

Not at all. If you were mentally unwell and not seeking treatment could do.
I’m on Prozac.
Good wishes in your new life
