NHS CETV

Has anyone applied for their CETV recently who works in the NHS? Apparently they are famously slow at producing it, and I wondered whether anyone's experience was different, and if there was any point in trying to chase it?

I worked for nhs in the past and had to get cetv from them at the befining of the year. I paid extra for speedy service and got it all emailed to me within days.
hope this helps

Thank you. Yes, I thought about paying the charge but the thrifty (and soon to be utterly broke) part of me baulked at paying £400 for something my husband's company managed to produce virtually overnight!

Yes, I applied for mine a couple of years ago. Weeks later I'd heard nothing, phoned to chase it and the forms had never been received by the relevant department🙄Asked payroll to send them again and eventually got the CETV - so yes it does take ages but don't be afraid to keep chasing/checking progress. Good luck!

@SmokeWithoutFire i don’t know what turn around times for usual service are, they might be fine. I was in the position where i needed it now so had to cough up, i did wince at the charge too but had no option😂
