Decree Absolute not arrived

My ex has said that the degree absolute was stamped by the court on 10 May and sent to him on 13 May. My solicitor contacted me on 20 May to say she'd not received anything.

Do courts typically send out a decree absolute separately to the applicant and recipient? Or, do the certificates go directly to the solicitors who then pass them on? Can I contact the court directly to chase my copy up?

If you have a solicitor it will go to them, otherwise it will come to you. Was the divorce applied for online? You can ring the court, and give them the case number to discuss it

This happened to my husband, his ex wife didn't get the absolute, yourself or solicitors can contact the court and they can email a copy if needs be which is what they did to her (or you can ask for it to be posted again).

Are there multiple Courts? I know the Consent Order was approved by a Family Court in Bury St Edmonds. Does this mean the Absolute would be issued by them too?
