Calculating custody percentage

Hi there, I wonder if I could get some help please. My ex has the children 3 nights a week and I have them 4 nights. He says this is a 50/50 split as it total 183/182 nights if you count on a calendar.

I work it out as a 208/156 night split by doing 52 x 4 as compared to 52 x 3. It's a maintenance issue.

Is there an official way of determining what the split is? I'm wondering if he is right although logically I can't see how he is? Thank you

It would be 208/156 based on him doing 3 nights and you 4 assuming no change during holidays

Sil recently gone to court and her ex dh has the kids Friday straight from school (they finish at 1pm)then drops them to school Monday morning. So he's having them 3 and a half days a week. That was taken as 50/50 by the court even though mom has them one extra night.

So it's worked out as if they are not in school. As on those days dad would have the children from 8am Friday morning till 4pm monday. Still 3 nights but almost same hours in total.

He has them 80 hours and she has them 88.
