What happens with holidays?

Just a question regarding maintenance, obviously when you arrange this you agree how many overnights the paying parent has. How does it work tho with months that have school holidays and therefore extra overnights? Not all the holidays are set in stone yet so how would this work? Does it affect anything?

It is calculated over a year so the criteria is

Never
Less than 1 night a week (less than 52)
1 to 2 nights a week (52 to 103)
2 to 3 nights a week and (104 to 155)
More than 3 nights a week (175 or more)

So with the holidays you would need to calculate how many days on average they would be with the paying person and that is the option that is selected when calculating maintenance

If it helps I worked it out based on every other weekend and half of all the school holidays. It still fell into the 1-2 nights a week bracket with aome extra days to spare.

@Itsybitsydoodah that’s really reassuring to hear! Thank you
